  1. When he had his interview and was approved you were given a date that he had to apply to take the conditional status off of the conditional green card. If he hasn't applied to get the conditions off, you will be able to report him. I'm sure if you tell them your situation & have evidence.. they will look into it even if he has his permanent green card.

  2. Depends on whether he has the conditional green card or already obtained his permanent one

  3. Probably, but you do not provide enough details.

where is he from, when were you married, what is your current status? If divorced when? How do you know it was only for the green card.

  4. Possibly, but I'm almost possitive you can keep him from getting citizenship.  You should at least be able to keep him from getting his GC extended when it expires.  I would call ICE.

  5. I bet ALOT of people warned you NOT to marry the %^&&R$#$ for just that reason, and you went ahead and married him, anyway...  Doubt that anyone can take it back, unless you can get him to confess that he married you under false pretenses...or if your marriage doesn't last the (3 years?) minimum to become legal for greencard purposes.

  6. You need to contact ICE and inform them that since your marriage you have learned that your husband married you only for immigration benefits, that you are filing for annulment/divorce based on his defrauding you, and that you want to cancel your sponsorship (affidavit of support) due to his defrauding you.

Get an attorney!  File for annulment/divorce based on fraud.  You have to show/tell them how you learned after the marriage that he only married you to get a green card & citizenship -- changes in his behavior, comments he made, discovery of a relationship in his home country with someone he plans to bring in as soon as he gets citizenship & dumps you, his hiding money or deceiving you about financial affairs, etc.

Marriage fraud is grounds for revocation of affidavit of support and deportation -- as long as you did not know until after the marriage that it was fraud on his part.

  7. If he's got his regular green card, not the 2 year conditional one, there's almost nothing you or anyone can do about it.

Here's the kicker, your affidavit of support is still in effect.  It will continue to be in effect until he becomes a US citizen or until her works in the US for 10 years.

  8. Sounds like a scenario my Friend went through. What he did was he had the marriage annulled, thus the green card was terminated. an annulment means that the marriage never happened, so if it never happened, he has no reason to be in the united states and would be deported.

  9. if permanet probably no, but you can steal it and then take him for a little trip back to his home country( you know a * vacation * and then watch him try to come back :)
