I hear a clunking by my exhaust whenever I drive. I am pretty sure my muffler belt needs to be changed. Where can I get a muffler belt and is it easy to change out?

  1. muffler belt? do you mean the straps that hold it up?

There are no Belts connected to your muffler

But yes, advanced auto, auto zone, or anywhere that specializes in vehicles and nothing else.

  2. we all agree and laugh. a muffler does not have a belt. it has brackets that hold it up in some situations. i would go to a shop and let someone take a look at it.

  3. auto zone

  4. just take your car to a shop. there is no belt, where it is welded together it probably came undone and needs to be rewelded.

  5. funny. there is no such thing.

  6. It is better to be sure what the problem is by visual inspection and be sure to touch the muffler when it is not hot and with due safety precautions when ever when wants to check the car especially the under surface
