I have a question about my neck/jaw area?

okay, you know where your jaw is?

as soon as you go down, i have a bump or something there.

it's on the inside, but it's not on the other side.

it's only on one side.

also, when i eat, it hurts my jaw and goes up through my ear.

but, when i'm not eating, it doesn't hurt.

any idea what it can be?

If this "bump" is on your neck, it is most likely a lymph node. You could possibly have a throat infection. If it is on your actual jaw, it could possibly be a tooth abscess. Either way you should go see your doctor. Good luck.
