I have a question about my protection involving micro anti virus..?

well i wanted to know if it is recommended to delete the quarantine files that stack up after time..also if its safe to delete the spy ware quarantined files....i have trend micro anti virus just in case that information is needed...also if its not safe to delete the files what should be done with them thank u all.

  1. The quarantined files are only kept in case you have any problems after they have been moved. If you do not have a problem after a couple of weeks you can safely delete them. I usually delete everything older than 2 weeks. Hope this helps.


  2. You can delete all the quarantine files and the spyware files as they are 100% safe and will have no impact on your system.  This does not mean that by removing the files that this will prevent you from ever getting either the same or another different type of virus or spyware.

    For me I never can understand why any one would save viruses in the chest for reuse.  There is no logic to merge a virus back into your system.  Juste DELETE them.
