My 12 year old son came home from a friends house to get a ps2 game. I looked outside and watched then drive away on their bikes. I noticed my son having trouble getting his helmet on and hold onto the game. I closed the door too soon. I guess what happened after that was that my son says that he couldn't get the helmet on so he threw it on the drive way and drove off. I didn't find this out until he came home a few hours later and the helmet wasn't there where he says he left it. We are out of town and I cant see someone taking it, but I was more upset that he says that he drove there without a helmet and when he came home. He wants to go back there and stay overnight, and wants to just where another helmet. I am upset that he wasn't responsible enough to put it on and I find it weird that it is missing. I'm very easy going and brush most things off but what would you do if this was your son?

  1. He shouldnt ride without a helmet. Dont let him, he needs to be responsible with his belongings.

  2. stand your ground no helmet right away therefore no bike riding!

  3. Obviously this is important to you and even though it may sound obnoxious to him safety is first and foremost, because you just never know.

I would tell him that his friend may come over and spend the night, but he may not go there until he finds the helmet or makes arrangements with you to earn a new one.

  4. First, I would tell him he couldn't go back to his friend's house since he broke the rules and not only didn't wear his helmet, but was also negligent with it. Then, I would make him work off the cost of a new one. It's a matter of safety, so hold your ground!

  5. i personally

    would have too say

hope that this is gonna be ure sons biggest mistake

its nothin compared to some things he will do wen he get older

or some thigs he might of alredy done , that u dont know bout

just be clear that u want him with a helmet

    dont over dues it

  6. This is nothing at all to be stressing over. Thanks for the two points.
