I have a question about speakers.?

I was wonder if speakers can loose their sound. i mean like not going as loud anymore. idk tho. my stero speakers dont seem as loud to me now. idk if im going deaf, if my mind is messin with me, or if they are loosing their quality.

Over many years, speakers can lose some of their quality, especially if played loud. Suspensions and spiders get more slack as they are moved back and forth so many times, making bass sound boomy and not as tight.

However, if the speakers are only a few years old, it's just your head I think...
