I want to know once and for all: when putting on a grip on a tennis racket, do you start with the sticky narrow end or the nonsticky square end???????

  1. ok start at the top and work your way down the handle of the racket. You start wrapping it with the non-sticky square end and finish with the sticky end. when you reach the sticky end, the wrap should be all on the handle and your done.

  2. With the sticky side, place it flat and just work your way round to the top. I recommend going over the base twice instead of once as it gives a much smoother feel. You should try using overgrips. Use a wilson pro overgrip or Dunlop hydramax ones as I feel they're the best.

    Have fun.
