Question:

I have a question about the Apple iPhone?

When I'm in Safari for a good bit of time the phone gets heated up, like any electronic device working for a while, and it will exit me out of Safari to the home screen. Is this normal, and just heating up? Sometimes, though, it will exit me out within 5 minutes of working on Safari, and the back won't be heated. Is this normal, and is this doing any damage to the phone? Also, is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thanks so much!

  1. Unfortunately I am not sure of the answer but the best place to ask this question is on the apple discussion  page for the iphone. You may need to register but it is a free discussion. There are skilled users on the site that are very knowledgeable and sometimes even more than the store associates :) Good Luck!

  2. Mine does the same thing. I talked to the people at the Apple Store about it, and they said that it is normal for it to heat up, and it is not harming it... My whole family has iPhones, and I am the only one that has a problem with Safari closing... I talked to the Apple Store about that too, and they said that it is normal.. Just a software problem that they are trying to fix. I find, that it helps if I restart my iPhone when Safari is acting up.
