who are 2 people in the Bible that had to wait for their prayer to be answered???

like abraham was bout to kill his loved son b/c God told him too but then God gave him a ram to kill in it's place

my favorite is in the book of danial,when the arc angel tells him his prayer was answered but that it took him days to get there because he had to fight all the way there and then all the way back kinda like getting a straight answer on here without all the ignorant answers

from the lost,the bibically brainwashed,or the non belivers whom satan already has, they dont believe in him either which you know is exactly

the way he wants it so more power to them for now

God promised Abraham that he would be the "father of many nations" (have countless descendants), but at the time, Abraham was almost 100 years old, as was his wife. They both had to trust that God had power to do what he had promised, no matter how unlikely it seemed.

The story of Lazarus in the book of John comes to mind as well. Lazarus was sick, and his sisters Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus to come and make him well again. But Jesus didn't come until after Lazarus died! Mary and Martha were so upset that Jesus would wait and allow Lazarus to die from the sickness. But when Jesus came, he raised Lazarus up from the dead.
