I have a question about the american school program.?

Does anyone know if you can switch from a college prep course to the general high school course? I have 9 credits in the college prep course and need 13.In the general course you only need 10 credits(well plus your electives which i already have).Some of the books are different.Do you think this matters?

Rules vary from state to state and even district to district. You'd have to check with your school board or school counselor to know for sure.
