Question:

I have a question about the seating for Mellon Arena...?

I bought 'limited view' tickets for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup playoffs and my seats are in section E-13. I wanted to know if anyone's ever sat here or had any information. I've already checked the seating charts on MA's website but I wanted an honest answer about how much of a 'limited view' I'm going to get. THANKS! :)

  1. It's been a while but I lived in the 'Burgh' for a while, we went to many Penguin games and sat under the overhang, can't remember the seat or isle but it wasn't bad.

    Go Pens!!

  2. Made a road trip there over christmas and sat under the overr-hang (not sure if that is e-13 or not) but we had limited veiw and it was not too bad at all. Pitt beat Washington in overtime and Laraque fought Brashear. If the game is any thing close to that kind of action with the intensity the finals will bring you will have an amazing time just being there in that atmosphere. Great fans in Pittsburgh and I love the penguins but I am from Detroit so I gotta say GO WINGS!!!!!!

  3. I always get "limited view" seats at Mellon.  As far as I know, there is a bit of an overhang that is above you, but I don't have one complaint and since it is in the Final, then it will be awesome.  In fact, I prefer the E-level seats over most other seats.  Enjoy!

  4. I have sat  in F-13 and was able to see just fine.  there where some complications, players looking like ants(not really)

But  this is for the Stanley Cup Really just being there should be a blast. Have fun!

  5. The F deck will overhang your seat.  You probably won't be able to see the scoreboard at all.  And depending what row you are in, the part of the rink furthest from you may be obscured.  I've sat in E section before.  It's a bit annoying, but hey, it's the Finals.
