Question:

I have a question about treating and preventing sea warts...?

Alright, I've had a sea wart for over 2 months. My doctor prescribed me antibiotics, because it was infected. After taking them for about a week, the wart went down in size by half, and the skin on top of the skin started peeling back, revealing the core. Then, the core started to turn a blackish color, so it must've been dying.

\But that's not the question, just some info. The question is: The core of the wart just came out on its own just a moment ago, and I would like to know: What steps should I take to make sure I don't infect the wound? I've already cleaned it and wrapped it. Also, how should I prevent getting warts again in the future? I haven't gotten a wart until I started working out at my school weight room, which may have been where I got it. Wear gloves I suppose?

  1. I have never heard of sea warts. Sounds like it is coming along okay. I always wash my hands after touching athletic equipment and also avoid touching my eyes.
