I have a question about wifi?

I have a wifi question. What products do you have to buy to get wifi internet at home, like the wifi internet at hotels? Do you have to have an internet provider like American Online to access the internet? Can you access the internet on Internet Explorer and will it be free.

You need an internet service provider such as AOL, Road Runner, etc.  Also, you need a wireless router.  Basically the ISP gives you the Internet and the wireless router allows it to be spread wirelessly through your area.
