I had a couple jobs that I worked for only a week. When I apply for jobs I dont put those jobs on my job apps. Is there any way that employers can find out that I had those jobs??

  1. Nope - not unless somebody tells them you worked there - then they could check

I have the same issue - I dont' list them either - but you do have to explain the GAP in your work history so be prepared to tell them WHY you weren't working those gaps in time

  2. NO.  There is no way that your new employer of prospect employer will find out.

Once you get the job, don't tell co-workers that you had those jobs. or they might be indiscreet and mention it. and your immediate supervisor or human resources might find out.  and they will know that you lied.

  3. No, they cannot - there is an exception to this, though.  If you're applying with a government affiliated company, there is a possibility that they can do a much more thorough investigation to find your previous employers.  Not likely though!
