what is the best kind of metal to get on a belly ring one that is the least to cause infection

Probably surgical steel, white gold, or silver.

It is very rare to have allergies to any of those.

I highly suggest staying away from nickel because most people are allergic to it, and therefore get infected.

You don't have to worry about it though, because most piercing places use good quality metals.

Also, I suggest Claire's for piercings. They're clean and professional.

most people are sayin surgical steel, but really, titanium is more pure. the chances of being allergic to it are like, practically zero. i have nickel allergies so my ring is titanium. im pretty sure that with surgical steel theres still a chance of traces of nickel being in the jewelry and i cant have that.
