Okay yes this is not a “travel” question but I am sure if I post it in the Politics section they will not know what I am on about. Anyway, I think that a government should have a more than one race in it. So that Whites can represent the whites, blacks for the blacks, Indians for the Indians etc etc. As we know each race will and does have different views on how to run a country.

My question for the ANC supporters is that, by supporting the ANC do you also support: crime and corruption?

I don’t support Apartheid but neither the ANC. What political party in SA can offer all people of all races a “fair” deal? Where we are all treated equally?

Does such a political party exist?

  1. Apartheid was an excellent system. Pity I wasn't old enough or influential enough to have perpetuated it.

  2. I don’t support Apartheid but neither the ANC. What political party in SA can offer all people of all races a “fair” deal? Where we are all treated equally?

Does such a political party exist?

    My answer:

    We need new Generation Leaders

Ones that will stand up and lead us

We need the old ones to be our traditional leader there is room for them.

The Zulu's and Xhosa's got there's where is ours?

  3. I have only the answer for 'My question for the ANC supporters is that, by supporting the ANC do you also support: crime and corruption?'

I am not an ANC member, however, the constitution of ANC has no line which say 'the ANC say yes to corruption'

Be carefull not to put everyone in the same box.  The reason why you know about this corruption is 'the government is transparent'.

  4. I do not support the ANC. At the rate they are going currently they are become known as the party who only cares about self enrichment and not solving poverty or economic crisis's in South Africa. I have a solution as I too agree that there is not one political party or an amalgamation of a few parties that can resolve the issues in this country that I live in called South Africa.

To start with, the constitution should be scrapped and a brand NEW one, with ALL races EQUALLY benefiting from it, be drawn up. Then a couple of steps to get things right...

    Firstly,

Never again should a single party be allowed to run things alone in government. there should be a mandatory unequal number of parties represented in parliament but never just one. In the event that a single party wins ALL elections outright, there should be an interim government that will run things with the support from the UN, NOT, I repeat NOT the AU or SADC or what ever brother bond now exists in Africa between all of these corrupt and illegal states!

    Secondly,

Never again should the president be allowed to be from the same party as the ruling party in the country. The deputy President can be from that party but the President should have a VETO vote that will allow for drastic change. Should the President be seen as sympathetic towards the ruling part, he should then be removed and replace by yet another leader who is NOT in Parliament neither in Government and should be elected by the PEOPLE for the people!

    Thirdly,

We should adopt the Federal system so that we may have independent states in South Africa. This will allow for the economical development of states were clever people run things and poverty were stupidity, greed, nepotism's and self enrichment rules!

    Fourthly,

The President will be in charge of government, not Parliament. Most important issues should be voted on through a vote by ALL citizens of this country.

    Lastly,

Police should be FORCED to enforce the law and corrupt officials should almost be hung! The prisoners in prisons should build themselves more prisons and they should cultivate land to feed themselves. The death penalty should be reinstated, the judicial system should be overhauled so that we no longer see this stupid phenomenon of "A TRIAL WITHIN A TRIAL" The country should once again vote on whether a murder should receive the death penalty. One case at a time. In short, the law should start IMPLEMENTING the laws of this country TO THE HILT!

  5. Quote: Anyway, I think that a government should have a more than one race in it. So that Whites can represent the whites, blacks for the blacks, Indians for the Indians etc etc. As we know each race will and does have different views on how to run a country.

Answer: All people have same needs. We all want the government to be corrupt-free. We want the government to create conditions conducive to economic growth. We all need jobs. We all need water and electricity. We all need safety and security.

Quote: My question for the ANC supporters is that, by supporting the ANC do you also support: crime and corruption?

Answer: No. It doesn’t mean that every person who supports ANC support corruption. I’m still to come across any document from the ANC that purport to support corruption/crime.  You seem to move from a wrong premise. It’s like asking whites; “by being white, do you miss apartheid”. Such questions do not only show naivety but are also destruction in a tense atmosphere were in now.

Quote: What political party in SA can offer all people of all races a “fair” deal? Where we are all treated equally? Does such a political party exist?

Answer: Each political party will tell you that they will offer you, as a voter a “fair deal”. But in reality South African politics are racially polarised. For instance, any non-African person who harbours aspirations of being the president of the ANC must be living in dreamland. Any non-White person dreaming to be the leader of the DA must be woken up before they go into a comatose. Any non-Coloured person craving to lead ID should think twice.

BTW. Wherever you have a significant number of Black and White people, political camps, created by past racial tensions, will always exist. For instance in US, Blacks feel more comfortable in Democrats camp than in the Republican one. That’s a fact which only requires men and women of integrity to manage.

    EDIT:

Heavy D: I don't know which things you believe from me and which you choose not to believe. I said here that I'm not a supporter of the ANC. They will not get my vote. That's it. What I tried to do in my answer was to give a general outlook of the country's politics. They might not be what I yearn for but they are a reality.

  6. Joppie is on the right path by saying we need New Generation Leaders.  But, that should be leaders who have not been "tainted" either positively nor negatively by apartheid.

In other words, SOUTH AFRICA NEEDS NEW LEADERS!!

No apartheid, and no ANC BEE and AA tactics.  We only need the old people for the basics, like running the finances, nature conservation, water management etc.

  7. South African politics thanks to the ANC are based on race but mutli culturalism doesnt work anywhere, anytime. It doesnt work in the UK or Europe or the US and it wont work in South Africa. It will eventually lead to a Tribal War as has been seen in the rest of Africa over the last 60 years and the dominant Tribe will rule.

Of course the ANC supports "crime" or genocide against Whites to give its proper name. How about this as an example:

    Xenophobic Attacks verses Genocide Attacks

    South Africa

    XENOPHOBIC: Black on Black Attacks.

    +-62 Blacks Brutally Murdered.

    +-400 Blacks injured.

Blacks chasing Blacks out of South Africa.

President Mbeki National Address, Condemns it.

Bishop Tutu National Address, Condemns it.

President Zuma National Address, Condemns it.

President Mandela National Address, Condemns it.

Most Politicians National Address, Condemns it.

    Whole Country Condemns it.

    Special Speedy Courts set up.

    President Mandela donates R1 MILLION

There was even some idiot trying to Blame it on Apartheid.

    GENOCIDE: Black on White Attacks

+- 3000 White Farmers Tortured and Brutally Murdered.

    +-10000 White Farmers injured.

    +-100 000 Farm Attacks

Blacks chasing Whites out of South Africa.

    President Mbeki Absolutely SILENT.

    President Mandela Absolutely SILENT.

    Bishop Tutu Absolutely SILENT.

    President Zuma Absolutely SILENT.

    President de Klerk Absolutely SILENT.

    Most Politicians Absolutely SILENT.

    Most of Country Absolutely SILENT.

    NO special Courts

    NO Donations.

    THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING.

Genocide in South Africa with the ANC Secret Hidden Agenda.

  8. A good answer from Pitso ,but I have a moral problem voting and taking a side with people who lie ,cheat ,defraud ,murder ,steal ,and discriminate ! Are that the kind of people we want as our leaders .Surely even you would rather vote for something else ? As you say ,our needs are the same ! Then why not seek to fullfill our needs with some leaders that are worth joining in our quest !

  9. This is a very relevant question and something that you can ponder on for a very long time without an answer. No political party has yet come to the forth that fight for my believes. We get all the pre election promises and things that each party will do when in power to better the living standards of South Africans and once in power, all these election promises are shifted out of the back door. What we need is tolerance, respect, the urge need to change and the will to rise as a better nation. We need a crime/corrupt free South Africa where you feel safe and I see no political party that can bring this about.

  10. I think DA but I don't really support any political party. Eveyone wants a piece of the cake and in my opinion I think we should have a non-racial political party.  We can't even have a religious political party because it can still create war.  You can't please everyone.  My worry is the crime rate, high inflation rate and the cost of living.  I don't see a future for our children.
