I have a question i need an answer today....?

My neighbors house just got foreclosed and she said she would sell me her storage building. I said yes but now i'm wondering if it is still hers to sell??? Or is it the banks and will i get in trouble for moving it.?? Nobody seems to know please help

  1. Is it attached to the house?  Was it there when she bought the house?  If not, no problem, I would think.  Good luck!

It's probably the banks.  You would have to check with the creditor to be sure to see if it's part of the property of not.  I would say it is.  Ask her for info on who foreclosing and permission to find out before buying.  Otherwise, you'll be buying your new neighbor's storage building, or receiving stolen goods.

    if she already had sold it to u its yours

    it she hasn't its the banks

  4. if its under a $500 dollar value i wouldn't worry about it but if so just call the bank which is foreclosing on the house and ask them they will tell you yes or no and they may even sell it to you. the bank probably has no idea the storage building is even in her back yard. but i would call the bank and just ask if they don't know then i guess i falls under the blame game and its yours :) I'm going through the same situation my buildings worth $2000 and I'm asking my attorney Tuesday so maybe i will be more help then sorry if this isn't much help have a good day
