Question 1: Can you make up a whole year or 2 of regular school by attending an alternative school?

I'm missing all my 11th grade credits and need to make those up +the 12th grade credits. Can I do it in one year?

And two, when does school start in the morning and when does it end?

I've heard it's different from a public school, and you enter at 8 am and leave at around 12 pm?

Thanks

  1. You should ask the school this, not us.  We don't work in the alternative school.

  2. One thing is that it depends on the school and the examination you are aiming at. It would of course be possible for certain places to offer crash courses but it would proceed at an extremely fast pace and the level of teaching is also hurried and if that is a situation you feel comfortable with along with external factors like peer pressure, exam stress etc. you could definitely go ahead and do well wherever.

Also make sure you research the institutes you are planning on early on from friends and ex-pupils who could give you an unbiased opinion and a personal experience. If it smells fishy or pupils arent performing well or complaining- do the right thing and study for your extra year.
