I have a question on animals.?

Which one should i get a hermit crab or a bird that i always wanted. I dont care how much money they are i just want to know what a better choice is. I know they are hard work.

hermit crab,birds stink and bite and go to the bathroom everywhere including ur hand!hermit crabs r cute u can hold em and feed and make sure u buy shells for the crab bcuz they get big and won't fit in their shell!also don't loose them!for crafts u can paint their shell how cute!good luck to u!

Would you rather have a penny or a thousand dollars? There is such a BIG difference between the two. Birds are like people. They become attached to you and they live a long time. Hermit Crabs sit in their cage and sleep. They do not become personal and they are boring. Hermit crabs will take you as much work as making breakfast. If you don't mind having and animal just sit their in there cage then go for the crab. But if you want an animal  that will love you back, show emotion, communicate with you, play with you, snuggle with you, make you laugh your head off, then you need a bird. Birds are a lifetime commitment, hermit crabs are a year of commitment. Can you commit? A hermit crab is a bad alternative for a bird. You can't even compare them. If you alternative choice really was a hermit crab than a bird, then I seriously think that you should get that hermit crab.
