I have a sony handycam hdd (hard disk drive) and when i try to upload videos to windows movie maker it wont let me it says im missing codec files or somthing i ussually go from the dcim file but they that doesnt have my videos in it the mp roots does and the mp roots file says im missing the codec files or somthing plzzzz help

mpeg2 from ur sony hdd is not supported by XPwmmaker2, therefore cannot import directly. Transfer mpeg2 file from vcam to pc and convert to avi or wmv (try prism or super) before editing in wmmaker.
