I have a question..slimfast..?

does it work?

im exercising alot, and took up running..

but i want my weight loss rate to be quicker..

i need to loose my fat, so i can feel comfortable in a prom dress..

has anyone tried slimfast?

and what are your thoughts on it..

  1. It works, but at first you'll be a little hungry. You need to follow the program and eat the snacks that will help control hunger. I would suggest a portion controlled dinner, like Stoffer's or others. Just not the Hungryman 1 pounders lol. But like Healthy choice. The Slimfast plan works and you can see before and after pics on their website and you can join their website and talk with others on the plan, too.

    The real key to weightloss is buring off more calories than you take in and eat often. You can do the shakes or just make better breakfast and lunch choices.


  2. tastes like c**p suppose to make u ful but makes u hungrier cuz it tastes so bad and makes u wanna eat real food it doesnt make u slim it's suppose to be a meal replacement like 2x a day so i say no eat food just healthy and smaller portions

  3. I use Isagenix, a whey product with lots of nutrition and no chemical fake stuff like slimfast except for the sucralose; I've lost 20 lbs so far in 30 days.

    read up on the benefits of whey, very enlightening; I can see why bodybuilders use it.

  4. Slim fast is ok, but it doesnt really give you all the nutrition you need, if you are just doing the shake thing.. I suggest low calorie, high protein energy bars...or even the South beach Diet protein bars. They are low in calories, but gives you energy to work out. If you do slimfast, make sure your taking vitamin supplements just to get all the good stuff.  

  5. Well, it never worked for me because it didn't fill me up. So I'd have my slimfast for lunch ... and THEN I would go get a sandwich because I was still starving! So I would end up with 160 or whatever EXTRA calories. Sheesh.

    But it may work for you ... who knows? It can't hurt to try - just be sure you are getting enough healthy food and not having *just* slimfast.

  7. Dont use it, just eat normally, but 1/3 less.  Stop eating at 6pm
