does any know of any online magazines/whatever that are looking for writers to write nifty little columns?

Money isn't really what I'm looking for, but it would be good to have some anyway. What I'm really looking for is exposure

Oh shoot, I can't remember what that companies name is. I almost started writing for one. I would just google it. I agree with the person about doing a blog too...

i don't know of any particular ones, but often if you just send them examples of work (they don't have to have been published)    they might ask you to do some freelance writing for them.    Starting a blog can help writers gain exposure (e.g diablo cody, writer of 'juno' was 'discovered' through her blog).  i like blogger.com, but there are loads of other good ones you could sign up to. Good luck, you seem to have the right attitude!
