I have a quick set pool 15 x 30 with no filter, how should I clean it?

I don't know if I should put in chlorine tablets or not because I don't have a filter. Someone told me that I should put in 2 tbsp of regular bleach in, would that help? thnks

Well, 2 tbsp of chlorine wouldn't even sanitize a fish tank, let alone a pool. :)

Why is it that you have no filter? Are you confusing the term "filter" with "chlorine dispenser"?

You can't operate a pool without filtration. It just can't be done. You'll have the "black pit of Calcutta" in no time without a filter.

If you have confused terms here, and are asking about a chlorine dispenser, then you'll be ok. All you need do, is put a couple of chlorine tabs in the skimmer basket or purchase one of those floating dispensers. They're cheap, 10 bucks or so.

You'll still need chlorine shock though ( liquid  or granular chlorine). You need to shock the pool once a week with it to temporarily raise the chlorine levels high enough to kill everything in the pool that the chlorine tabs missed. Sounds like you alos need to buy a test kit. You need to keep your chlorine levels at 1.0 - 1.5 all the time and raise it to about 3.0 on the day you choose to shock. The chlorine level after a shock, will go down to normal by itself after a few hours. That's how it's designed to work. That's also why you need both types of chlorine, the tabs and the shock. The tabs deliver a low constant dose that allows you to swim but still kills off most of the nasties. The shock delivers a fast high dose and then goes away.

Just because you think your quick set pool is not a "proper pool", it still needs to be taken care of like an expensive pool. Water is water. It doesn't care if it's in a 400 dollar tub or a 1 million dollar pool.
