  1. try removing it with avg if it cant use Avira AntiVir : www.free-av.com

  2. Any "FREE" anti-virus will mostly only detect an intruder but won't remove it. The best thing to do is to buy a full version and install it on your hard drive. As far as the trojan, google the trojan and find a self help site to manually delete it. Which will more than likely mean getting in to your Registry.

  3. Well, good luck. I too had avg free, then they tried getting me to pay. I fell for it, downloaded and paid and was unable to open it because the activation code they gave me was not accepted. I called them, waited on the phone 40 minutes and was so mad I canceled the order. Now i keep getting the little pop up on the lower right task bar about the virus. So i tried Cyberprotector, same thing. Downloaded the software, paid, and it wouldnt accept the activation code. I called. They are trying to tell me it wont accept the code because of the virus and offer to monitor my computer 24/7 for $169 a year. I have to wait intil mon. to cancel that one. I think there is some kind of a scam going on. I can take my pc in to be checked for less than $169.

  4. Use AVG-Free since 5(!) Years - i'm surfing an d'ling like mad - had NEVER probs!!!!
