I have a rather old (circa 1990s) Samsung stereo system (Model no. SCM-6500) and the main reason I keep it is because it had a vinyl player on it - but when I put the arm over the turntable, it doesn't start spinning. I was hoping for any general advice for troubleshooting to get it to work before I throw it away, just in case it's a technical problem and not to do with the age of the product. Any suggestions?
