I have a razr by motorola and i am having a problem can someone pls help me?

So i have had this phone for about 2 yrs and everytime when i try to text the letters appear on the screen very slowly and it picks words that i didn't even type in/ and just to see my images it takes like a year and a half for them to come up I have enough space on my phone so I don't know what the problem is..do u think getting a new battery will help my slow phone that seems to be possessed or something..thank you

youmight have too many text saved the thing about the razor is that it can store sooooooo many text messages i was at 650 in box and 350 out box.  and it was driving me crazy because it worked so slow.  if you delete the text you don't need  it will work at a normal pace again.  thats what i did to slove the problem also change the setting from itap to you inputing each letter so the phone doesnt try to guess what you are trying to type.  i text more faster that way anyway good luck.
