I have a readiness hearing tomarrow. I have to get a different public defender to represent me 'cause I have

now one who is ignoring me, won't return my calls, obviously not on my side. Can I fire him or should I only ask to speak to the judge or is it even possible todo anything about it tomarrow? Please help me...?

Talk to you public defender first.  If you find they still don't know what is going on, you can ask the judge for a new attorney.  The court can give you a hearing, and if the judge finds a problem, then you will get one.  The hearing is normally private, meaning they will clear almost everyone from the courtroom.  Just know, public defenders have a lot of clients, and do a thankless job.  Good luck
