How do I get rid of it???? I have used bleach, acetone, and WD40. I am barrowing the dryer from my sister and now the acetone smeared it all over, it looks like the ink is very soaked in now!

  1. I'm afraid you have made a serious mistake using Acetone. Acetone will attack the finish and ruin it. To remove a stain, start by using the chemical with the lowest hazard. In this case start with a detergent, if it removes the problem, your done. If not then use minerial spirits. After that you need to test on a place that does not show to make sure it will not attack the finish. Bleach will clean the area, but will not remove a stain. WD 40 will not do anything, but deposit an oily residue. The finish has been damaged and the stain has become part of the finish.

  2. I would try rubbing alcohol, but I'm afraid that by using the acetone, you might have ate through the enamel on the dryer, and that is why it looks as if it is spreading.  You can buy white enamel touch up paint as a last resort.

  3. Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  I've used them to get out lots of stains that I thought were impossible.  Good luck.

  4. ~~The only thing that I know of is rubbing alcohol. Let it sit on it and repeat until gone.~~
