I have a really good idea for a website business but I don't know how to program or code. I just have a loose idea of how it will fit together and I have a business model. I'm also trying to figure out how much the initial investment will be.

How much does it cost to buy a domain name? Where do I hire programmers? How much will that cost? What other things should I be taking into consideration?

Any advice is appreciated!

  1. You will need to purchase a domain name. Usaully you rent these on a monthly basis. After this you shoudl learn html(this is the coding language for making websites).Alternatively you could purchase things like dream weaver, which provides a graphic interface for you to design the web page. Once this is done, depending on the services offered by the people you rent from you can just put the html code on and there you go. If your looking to do the coding yourself, i would say that at mimimum you should learn the following web langauges :

    - html

    -java script

    -css

Tutorials for these can be found on www.w3schools.com.

If your looking to make people able to sign up to your website then there are some pretty advanced things you will have to do, that I don't have the time to fully discuss. But I will say that you should learn about apache servers and the php language.

Hope ive been ov some use. ;)
