I have a really guilty conscience. Please help me ??!!

This is not my question but my friend is really ashamed to do it on her own because too many people know her. So I let her use mine Just for the record.

I did something really bad. It's like very immoral. I can't even say what it was because I'm so ashamed. What I did caused pain to someone very very close to me. I feel so horrible because when I look at that person I feel like crying. All I want to do is cry. But fessing up is completely out of the question. It'll destroy our relationship even more, I probably could even get kicked out of my house. I can't bare seeing that person sad though. What should I do? I've already prayed and prayed and prayed for forgiveness. What should I do? How can I make this up.

not knowing it's hard to help but the only way the guilt will ever go away is confessing to the person and letting them know how sorry they are they caused them pain. it's better to tell the truth rather than a lie and the truth will always come out and it will be worse when it does.

There's nothing new under the sun. Whatever you have done, its been done before.  If you believe in God, and you have prayed for forgiveness, and are truly sorry for what you have done, then you have been forgiven. Your challenge is to forgive yourself! That's all that's left to do.  If you continue to feel badly then you choose to carry a burden of guilt God has already lifted.

you have to admit to it, express guilt, if you can't be honest how can you ask for forgiveness????
