I have a punto and had one before this one so. A red light is a warning.If your doors or boot are not closed properly is the common one.Seat belt not on. Oil warning (looks like an oil can) also if you are not using the original code key you may get a key light I did in my old car.If your hand break is on or not taken off fully and the obvious one low fuel...Good luck Oh and I have the handbook
