I have a refractor telescope help??

i have a refractor telescope and when i look in my spotter scope/view finder everything is up side down:( whyy????? helllllpppppp ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *dies*

In refractor telescope what happens is that when the rays of light meet they cross each other by striking the lens...So the image just seems to be upside down as well as in reflector telescope there is one more mirror which just makes it fine....Just read a physics book of some higher class and u will be able to understand it completely...........but upside down image doesn't matter..Whatever u wanna see u can see..even i have refractor telescope...


  2. That is normal for any telescope. Because the extra lenses needed to make the image right side up would reduce image brightness and introduce distortion, astronomers prefer to stay with the upside down image. After all, there's no "right way up" in space.
