Question:

I have a refund to collect from the tube station by my Oyster card !!!?

They told me that I should touch my Oyster card on the yellow reader on the gate to collect the refund. Anybody knows if I have to collect it while I am going in journey through the tube or just touch the yellow reader without having to go in a journey???

  1. You must complete a journey. If you just open the gates and walk away you will be charged the maximum cash fare of £4 and have an unresolved journey.

    Only exception to this is if your Oyster card holds a travelcard and the barrier is at a station within the zones in which your travelcard is valid.
