I have a relatively older CRT monitor. Is it possible to use it on a newer Vista computer?

As long as your video card supports output to the display (or indirectly through cable adapters), Microsoft Vista doesn't care if it is a CRT.  The underlying hardware is abstracted throught the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) so you really just need video drivers for your card and your card to support output to the CRT.  If you ran an older version of Microsoft Windows, the chances are very good that it will work just fine with Microsoft Vista.

I dont know about vista but i know that most older crt monitors dont support most resolutions run on xp. You might need to set the screen resolution to a very low one for it to display anything otherwise all you'll get is a blank screen even when the computer's on.
