I have a reoccurring dream of going backwards in a car with no brakes?

Question

I am always the one driving and I am on a hill and the car starts rolling down the hill and I am stepping on the brakes with all my might, but it won't stop. Any of Idea of what this dream means? I have had it many times.

First check the brakes on your actual car.

Second look at what you do daily.  The dream could be saying that you are 'backsliding' in some area.  If you are trying to quite smoking, or giving up anyother habit you may need to double your efforts to stay on the straight and narrow.

maybe you feel that you are going backwards to square one, be that in your career, a realtionship, or life in general. You feel that however hard you try, you can't stop the motion of going backwards. Your life is taking a steep route back down to where you came from and no matter what you do you can't stop it... maybe recently a relationship has broken down, or you feel it will. or you have been demoted in your job, or you feel you may be soon? the general feelings i get from this dream are quite negative. I am not sure however if the car has any significance. If you are an unconfident driver, maybe the dream has a more literal meaning and you feel that one day your bad skills as a driver could set you in good stead for an accident or emergency?

but then again, I am a thirteen year old school girl, not a qualified interpreter with training, what do I know lol!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have the same exact dream, but I am going forward. I'm pressing on the brake, all the way to the floor but I am still moving forward into the intersection. I too dream it often. I don't have an answer for it, would really like one.
