  1. maybe no one knows about yet. you should have a grand opening and post flylers all over town! get the word out about you resturant that the only way people will come. you should let one kid out of every family eat free. <--- people like that because it saves money you could do that like every weekend. and make sure to have friendly people who work at your resturant not old hags. :]


  2. Well there is odviously a problem. It could be several of these things.

    1.Location-hard to get to or hard to find no one will come.

    2.Over priced and little food.

    3.Food no one will eat

    4.Service is bad and slow.

    5.Food over cooked/undercooked.

    6. The place is dirty and unfriendly looking.

    Look at your restaurant as a Customer. Not as the owner .  What are you missing ? Or needs to be fixed.

  3. Put advertising close a busy road run a bunch of copies off and put on peoples doors, it might b expensive at first but it might be helpful in the long run. :D Good Luck

  5. Food quality, management, is the place CLEAN? Decor can be next to last after those first items.

    Management also includes 'is it a friendly place' ...not w/the Soup n**i working the room.

    Why are you asking questions when you should be running a restaurant? We're the wrong people to ask. You should be in the actual restaurant, not in your office. You almost sound like my boss! But she was on the floor working today, so I know it's not her!

    First off, it's a beautiful day, and people are bbqing. I thought we would be busy for breakfast but we weren't.

    I'd like to know what your employees are doing while you're on the computer. Get back to work. Just because you are the boss, doesn't mean you have nothing to do. Whip-whip...

  7. You have to get yourself out there. Newspaper ads, radio ads, flyers, try having special deals at lunch time, make sure you're in a good location where people will notice your sign. Make sure your sign is attractive. Also, make sure whatever you named your place ties in with what type of food you serve, people want to know what it is they're going to get if they come there, you just have to get out and do some networking.

  8. what are feedback's from customers? if you have none i would suggest that you get on the dining room floor and stay there until you are satisfied that you you have good feed back

  9. Do some advertising with coupons, ie; buy 1 get 1 free/buy 1 get 1 50% off..best of luck..it's hard times for alot of folks out here...

  10. It depends on the food, service, how clean the restaurant is, and definitely the location of your restaurant. Because many ppl may have a restaurant with the best food but be in a location where most ppl can't afford the food or many ppl don't like that particular type of food. Is the food inexpensive? i know inflation is kickin many ppls butts right now but there are many ways to make tasty yet inexpensive food but at the same time make a nice profit.

    I live near new orleans and we love many different types of food down here. But we mostly love soul food, seafood, and crawfish. So the best restaurants down here have to have the best of everyting to be successful.

  11. Go out front and see if it looks appealing. Ya know what they say about first impressions...they go a long way.

    Do people know you are there?They cant come in if they don't know you are there.Have a parking lot? Sponsor a car wash.

    Provide a snack tray or whatever your specialty is at the next town meeting. Or give a snack tray to your local fire dept. Word of mouth goes a long way. Best of luck to you
