We want somewhere where we can catch up over good German/Austrian food and then go out to drink and party at a good club after.

As we are a big group we may have to also arrange bookings.

We are also new to Berlin so places that are easy to find and central.

Thanks!

  1. Some restaurant recommendations in Berlin are available here:

Some recommendations for nightlife, as well:

Personally, for Austrian, I liked Ottenthal, but it is very small (14 would fit in but you'll have to reserve) and was very disappointed by Austria mentioned above. For German, I liked Weihenstephaner (Bavarian) and the Prater of course (who wouldn't).

The Prater in fact might be ideal for starting a night out, because it is in Prenzlauer Berg, near many clubs and bars.

  2. The BEST Austrian restaurant is 'Austria' in Bergmannstrasse 30/Marheinekeplatz in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Telephone: 030 - 694 44 40. Be sure to make a reservation, though, they're mostly quite full. The make the best Wiener Schnitzel I have eaten in my life.

Afterwards stuff everyone in two big cabs and take them to Mitte to 'White Trash Fast Food'. Great and wild club, cool music. You got to be 18 to get in, though, don't know how young your people are.

It is well known in Berlin and easy to find. So is the Austria. If you're in the neighborhood you can ask the locals and they will  for sure be able to help you.
