Should I still use the film? How long is it before film REALLY is useless?

  1. I wouldn't, it's likely that your photos won't turn out.

  2. Junk the film.

Why waste time and money on a roll of film that more than likely will give you nothing but regret?

  3. A lot will depend on how the film was stored. Was it in a drawer where the room temperature got over 90 degrees, or was it stored on a shelf in a basement where the temperature stayed cool and didn't get too hot or cold?

If it was stored in relatively stable conditions or even better, in the freezer or fridge, then I would say it's safe to use it. Expect some color shift.

I wouldn't use it for your best friend's wedding pix or something like that.

How long before it's useless?? That's a relative question. I know a few people who scour the auctions on ebay looking for films of various vintage. If you have several rolls and decide not to use it, don't throw it away, sell them on ebay!

  4. If you use it I'd use it on pictures that don't matter, just goofy pics or something.

  5. i don't see why not, but if you use it there might be a chance that the pictures won't come out high quality if even at all.  i have never tried. i don't think it will ruin the camera
