I have a roof antenna and we stop using it and went to satellite?

The question is we haven't used the roof antenna in long time and we cancelled the satelitte. Wondering if the antenna will work.

  1. Yes, the antenna will work, but check that all the cables are OK.


  2. Ditto the TV guy's comment plus you should clean the antenna terminal contacts for any oxidation or just plain dirty contacts.  Clean both the antenna and the twin lead contacts prior to re-connecting them.  Verify the integrity of the down lead in cable or wire.
