  1. good answers so far, if all of those fail, contact an auto electrician, although it may be cheaper just to buy a new radio, as they can be picked up really cheaply now, from as little as £20

  2. If you can't find the code, it will be a trip to a rover garage.

Unfortunatly they like to charge for this service...

  3. somtimes the code uis writen in the owners manual or on the side/back of the radio.

  4. I had this trouble.  Mazda looked on their system, but they had no record of the code.

I had to take my car to a local sound and security system specialist who took the radio out and recoded it.

I presume that you are in the same position as me- being there is no local Rover garriage since rover went out of business!

  5. In my Range Rover it was written o a piece of paper in the user manual, check it.

  6. Ring up your local Rover garage... they should be able to provide you with it!

  7. If you didn't know the code you should have connected you battery cabes to another battery so you wouldn't lose it. if you can remove the radio and find a serial number the code could be the last 4 numbers of the serial number.

  8. mate, there is a couple of things to do first check around the radio if you can take out of its cradle or check is in cars manual or log book it may be on a small sticker in the book or you will have to contact a rover dealer they will have it in the system
