  1. go for two. that way you can set your goal and if you think you have to stop you can. if you can keep yourself going, great. if you can't, no shame in getting out there and trying. i hope i helped, good luck!

  2. try for the mile. if you can you should keep going but don't ware yourself out. only do what you know you can do. also, keep running throughout the summer going a little farther each time. get somthing to pass the time like an ipod.drink plenty of water, you wouldnt want to pass out especially in the summer sun.

  3. Be sure to at least go one mile, then keep going if you can. Push yourself the first day to see where you stand fitness wise right now, that way you'll know for next time.

  4. If you havent been running much lately you may want to get your body back into shape by starting with one mile and then if you think youre ready move up to like one in a half and then finally the two miles so you can work your way up to it :)

  5. try a mile then keep going further and further

  6. Since your mileage is still low, two miles shouldnt be too much of a problem. It depends also whether you run flat out, but run a mile at a decent clip and see if you can keep going.  If you want to build better resistance, try running longer fewer times a week, like 4 miles three times a week.  of couse you should build up to that too.  You only have to worry about increasing mileage when you're doing a mileage step up program and dont want to step up too much, or when you are doing maybe 20-30 or more miles a week and are trying to come back after a couple of weeks off.

  7. go for two..i havnt run in a while and today i just did 3 miles..and im also a long distance runner in track..

  8. 2 weeks isn't that long to go with out running so i'd say go for the 2.

    :)

  9. See how good you're doing at a mile and keep going if you feel up to it. If you plan on running more running longer distances will help you get in better shape too. See what you can do, and maybe talk to a coach! Good luck! :)
