I am curious why we are so angry at immigrants?

Don't we want to see people happy? Don't we want to see people succeed? Is that not the ultimate goal of everyone? Just to be happy?

  1. I want to see legal immigrants succeed.  As for illegal aliens, I don't want to see them at all.  

    Do you like to see pedophiles happy?  Do you like to see thieves suceed?  Is that the ultimate goal?  Do we want criminals to be happy?

    I'd also like to see proponents stop trying to confuse the differences between legal immigrants and illegal aliens.  That's simply not fair to our legal immigrants.  They deserve better than that disrespect.


  2. Um... yes that is the goal.  But your question is (no offense) pointless. The real question is 'what values, political systems, cultural values, and economic policies allow the most people the most freedom to achieve their OWN goals and aspirations?'  

    I would say representative democracy, individual rights, and capitalism are the answers but regardless, the only question worth asking is not what but how.

  3. My parents are immigrants.  But guess what?  They worked hard to become citizens of the United States because they repsected the fact that the U.S. accepted them into our country.

    Immigrants have contributed a lot of good to the U.S. economy.

    Illegal Immigrants are draining our economy.  Send them home, and if they return put them in prison.

    Illegal Immigrants do pay taxes, nobody can avoid taxes, gasoline is taxed, food is taxed, everything you buy is taxed. They might not pay for all taxes, but its false that they don't pay taxes at all. Also, these people work for cash and since they are illegal, employers can pay them for less then minimum wage for jobs that are very hard to work in, and undesirable, Construction, Agriculture, etc jobs you Americans probably wouldn't work in. I know, and heres for sure why I know my people are not stealing tax money from  this country and thats because were NOT RICH, retards. IF WE HAD AN EASIER LIFE, GETTING MORE MONEY, AVOIDING TAXES, then don't you think we'd be very wealthy by now? After all these years of a person being illegeal, you'd think they'd be wealthy. Some people say that illegal immigrants take from the U.S. economy and the other side says they give to it. Well the fact is that, latino families are poor, the majority are so I think the answer is obivious. As for them being illegal, in my eyes they are not,, all you "Americans" are nothing but illegal eurpean people that trespassed Native American land, so I considered your "laws" void. If your want to truely uphold the law, ask the Native Americans if you can stay on thier land or back to europe.

  8. Usually legally imigrants are not ciminales they just want to start a new and better life. Because people are afraid that these immigrants who are searching for a better life could work harder and doing a better job than people her in the US.

    I am an immigrant and within the last few years I achieved my GED, and consequntely my University degree. Like other people her I had to work and study hard (maybe harder than english speeking people) to get thru college.

    A lot of people her are too lazy to work/study to make a better life. They just like to compalin that life is not fair.

  9. No, I want all immigrants to go back to their own country.  Especially since all of our jobs are going overseas, and to Mexico, I don't see why those immigrants are so retarded trying to get into the US.  

    What pisses me off is the d**n immigrants get everything handed to them, while a US citizen can't get ****.

  10. We are not mad at immigrants. It is the illegal immigrants that we don't like! Considering that illegal immigrants kill 10,000 people in the US every year I would like to see those people happy. I want to see those people succeed. That WAS their goal. Just to be happy! Unfortunately illegal aliens killed them. Why should I make criminal invaders happy? So they can kill some more? And we get to foot the bill? Report and Deport!

    In my opinion, I think people from the American continents should be free to come & go as they please, providing they aren't carrying some communicable disease or have a history of criminal activity.

    There's a difference between border control (without which we wouldn't have a nation) and border elitism.

  12. people are just naive and are not to quick to accept change.  this has been going on for centuries.  example slavery.  black people, as well as others who may have been slaves, were taught to not trust the white man.  they have been taught this for centuries so just because now people are free does not mean that it will change how someone truely feels.  that is just like a racist may tolerate people on his.her job, but that does not change the fact that they will still have racist views.

The reason that people are so angry at illegal immigrants is that they are a drain on our economy and financial system.  They dont pay taxes but still use our roads, hospitals, and take advantage of our municipal systems.  Our country would be much better off if they were either not here, or they were legal and paid taxes.

Megan I understand your question.  Illegal immigrants have no business being here at all.  They take American jobs, don't pay taxes, and put nothing back into our economy.   They send all of their earnings back to their homeland.  The legal ones who have gone about things the correct way, should be able to do as they please, but the rest should be reported to immigration.

  17. US citizens kill each other far more often than illegal immigrants do. If a child was hurt by a white person would you want all white people to leave? No. You can't pick and choose who you think should/shouldn't be here. Unless your tribe is indiginous to this land, we are all immigrants. Most of our ancestors came here without visas because they wanted a better life. So to answer your questions...most people are trying to say "No. No. No. Yes."

  18. In a perfect world of butterfly's and rainbows id like to see everyone succeed but we have hit hard economic times and its only going to get worse.

    The United States Government had better wake up cause we are heading for a full blown Depression and their refusal to do nothing about both Legal and Illegal immigration and the constant outsourcing of our jobs is the fuel to the fire.

    Bottom line We cant help everyone. Illegal immigrants are flooding our low skilled job market and its already crowded!

    Their willingness to work for poverty wages is driving wages down as a whole! Not to mention the economic strain they have had on the public sector.

    So its no much as im mad at them its more at what they are doing to my country. At the current pace within the next 10-15 years no ones going to want to come here because our economy will be as bad as Mexico's.

  20. No one is angry at immigrants as they come here legally, illegal invaders we want to see deported and sent back where they belong!!!! We need to see American citizens happy before we can worry about the happiness of others!!! I want to see citizens succeed, not criminals!
