I have a samsung g600

Question

I have a samsung g600 phone and have connected it to the computer without the samsung software it wont recognise the the phone I then downloaded the software and the updates from samsung same problem I get an invalid data error I then loaded software onto another and plugged phone in it worked fine I think either it has loaded something that I cant uninstall have tried that path or I have something on my computer that prevents it being recognised thanks
