Question:

I have a samsung sp43t8 projector and an xbox 360. hi-def won't work. help!!!?

I thought that maybe the component video cables were busted, but i already bought three av cables (3 separate av cables!) and then checked my xbox with another tv and the hi-def works... help... my dvd player works fine, but the xbox can't be used. my maximum hi-def is 1080i... so pls HELP!

  1. if you've done all those extensive tests, I would say that the projector isn't HD compatible with the xbox 360.


  2. Have you toggled the switch at the base of the Xbox cable between AV and HD? Have you tried using the AV output? If you want to use HD or AV then check the projector resolution settings and compare then to your Xbox resolution settings, if they are mismatched you will get a black screen until the settings are correct.

    If I were you I would get the AV to work on the lowest resolution settings first and then work my way up to HD settings.

    I did the same with my projector a few days ago and got motion sickness playing on the bug screen. But it was fun getting sick :o)
