hello, i changed my photo to a saturated one, but i deleted the normal one. can i change the saturated one to normal?

  1. You'll have to mess around with the photo.  Change the saturation and brightness/contrast to see if you can get it back to normal.


  2. Unfortunately if you've already saved the saturated one, there is no-way back.

  4. It may not look exactly the same, but use the same software and reduce the saturation.

    Unless you've done other things to hose the file, you might be lucky enough to get back somewhere close to the original.

    Next time ... don't DO that!

  5. It will never look the same.

    This is one of the reasons you will see many of us recommending that you save all your original image files on a CD as backup before making any modifications.  At the very least, rename the modified image so you do not overwrite your originals

  6. With whatever program you used to saturate the original photo, try the Hue and Saturation control to reverse the effect. If it was just a one click adjustment then it may be more difficult but you should be able to improve on your present photo even if it does not get it back to exactly what you want.
