I have had the car checked on the diagnostics and it comes up with a mixture problem does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be. I have changed the lambada sensor and the cat, and the ecu has been tested which came back with no faults. The timing has also been set up dont know what to try now.

  1. The only thing I can suggest is a faulty injector - Not sure if that's an MPi or SPi engine.

  2. The typical thing that can go wrong are the fuel injector o ring seals, possibly one or more of the vacuum pipes have split or come off.

    Ja.

  3. Problem with the idle control valve Probably. grit or something not allowing it to open properly. Remove it and clean it with an air gun or in petrol.

  4. To be honest, if the problem is only over 5000 rpm I wouldn't worry about it.  Realistically you shouldn't be revving it this high anyway!
