  1. As Eire did not sign the Schengen Treaty you will need a full passport to visit.


  2. Ireland did not sign up to the Schengen Treaty so you will not be able to visit Ireland on your existing visa. Speak to the Irish embassy in Ireland for advice on what visas you require to visit Ireland. They can give a definitive answer on whether you can visit Ireland.
