  1. only one option: reformat and install windows

if you dont want a virus ever again buy a mac, and you need windows for something they dual boot mac os x and windows if you get intel mac.

  2. Run Kaspersky online scanner. www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner. Find out the process name. Restart your computer and start in safe mode. (Press F5 while the computer is booting up, you'll be given a couple of options, choose safe mode with networking) When windows loads into safe mode delete temporary files ( go to Start -> RUN) and type in TEMP, a folder will open delete all files in there. do the same thing for %temp% in the run line. Then go to Start -> Search and select all files and folders, then check on advanced options and select the (show hidden files) . Lok for the files that came up in kaspersky online scan. That should take care of that.

  3. 1)Get rid of Avast

2)Get AVG (It won't get rid of it, but it will make you feel better by saying it did)

3)Use AVG to retrieve the location of the file.

4)Go into your registry and VERY CAREFULLY dispose of the file.

2 and a half) Throw your computer out the window and buy a Mac.
