I am guessing they were manufactured in the 1970's or earlier. I am also looking to sell them. If anyone is interested in buying or knows how i can find the date of manufacturement, please let me know. Any help would be very much appreciated.

  1. The best way to determine their age would be to contact the manufacturer directly or go to a billiards shop that has been around for several decades.   As an antiques and collectibles dealer, I have to say that 1970's doesn't really qualify as "antique"...they'd more aptly be referred to as "vintage."    Their resale value will depend on their condition, age, relative scarcity and market desirability.    If you go to photobucket.com you can set up a free account, upload a picture of the balls and post a link to that picture along with your question here...that'll give people the best information with which to answer your question.

  2. Unless you are talking Museam entry made of different materials than the last fifty years, maybe from 1920s these are just old balls.  The resin used in making good billiard balls naturally yellows with age so there is less appeal and market for older balls even though they play just as well. I doubt if there is a way to set the age of these old Brunswick balls, unless at some point they made a style change in the colours or font of the numbers used but thats a stretch. I do know that Aramith Balls have been noted as the best billiard balls for many decades and a 1970s set will go on eBay for around $15.00 - $25.00. I have watched for an purchased two such used sets in the last year.
