Right inside the campus there is a rentable place for seminar and those like you attending short courses/seminars. Sorry the name slips my mind for now but it's that building not too far from the gate-- not grade school gate, not high school (well, I may be wrong about proximity to gate but it's there). Just ask Ateneo. I know friends and family who stayed there and it was a fine place: big room. there's even a small cafeteria in that building.

How long would that short course be? There are several apartments and dormitories around the Katipunan area near Ateneo, as well as bed spacing places. I don't really have the addresses for all of them, so I would suggest you go to Katipunan way beforehand to ask around.

As for hotels, there is only one hotel that I know of near there. It's called the Marikina Hotel and it's located near the River Banks Mall. The Katipunan you see in the location map is not the Katipunan area but rather Katipunan street or road. Hope you find accommodations!

why don't you rent a condo instead? there are several right across ateneo like regina i would suggest regina cos it is fairly new, has underground parking, and i own a unit there as well.

edit: as far as i know there are no hotels, inns or pension houses near ateneo...someone correct me if i'm wrong.

you can try the condos along Katipunan or look for bedspacers at Varsity Hills or Loyola Heights. it's much cheaper than a hotel and it's closer to Ateneo.
